Three Questions: 1.When I do basket calibration for wobble, where do I put the tip of therunout gauge? On the shaft above the basket or directly on the basket
at the bottom of the basket? 2.What reading do I use on the runout
gauge? If I get a total runout of 1 mm do I divide that by two since it
includes runout on both sides of the shaft axis?3. How do I check shaft centering?

1) As per the USP General Chapter <711> Figure 1 the Run-Out is measured from the bottom rim of th basket.

2)The totoal run out is divided by 2 since the runout specification is +/- 1mm.

3)Most Dissoution system manufactures have centering gauges that you can purchase.
